Supplier Auditing

Supplier audits have proven to be reliable tools for identifying the quality level of a company’s organization and the one of its suppliers. ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized set of rules for the measurement of corporate quality standards. The training will familiarize you with the basic content of ISO 9001 and its application during audits. You will become acquainted with the different aspects of audit organization, audit implementation and correct audit documentations. Additionally, you will learn about ISO 19011 how audits are run according to international standards.

Quality Control Loop

Quality control loop is one of Quality Management tools and it describes a successive 4-step problem solving process. This multi-purpose approach, which is easy to implement, is a crucial capability to ensure continuous improvement and learning in an organization. The focus of the quality loop is on solving a problem where it occurs in cooperation with the involved people. By keeping track of the outcomes of an implemented solution, the quality loop helps to ensure effective quality management and durable improvement. In the training, participants will learn how to successfully implement and use quality control loop in practical applications.

Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
Objectives and Content
Value steam mapping is the simple process of observing the flows of information and materials as they occur currently, summarizing them visually, and then envisioning a future state with improved performance. It is a basic tool of lean production to analyze the current state and design a future state with lean principles. The workshop introduces the method of value-stream mapping and shows the use on an example. In the second part of the workshop the participants analyze a certain part of their company and draw a value-stream map on-site by themselves. We jointly use VSM to derive operational needs in your company. The results are used to systematically start the digitalization in your company.

Optimal internal logistic processes are critical for an efficient production process: The right material needs to be at the right place in the right quantities at the right time. Guiding principles originating from lean production, such as Kanban systems and milk-run, are introduced in this course. Additionally, the transfer of these principles into the digital factory is discussed. The training contents are supported by hands-on application scenarios in our Innovation Center.

FMEA is an analytical method of preventive quality assurance. The objective is to identify and evaluate risks in time, and to initiate or propose suitable actions for risk minimization. In FMEA, failures are prioritized according to how serious their consequences are, how frequently they occur and how easily they can be detected. As an important method in quality work, it is widely used in manufacturing industries in various phases of product life cycle.
